THE WAR PARTY by Vincent Delaney
Directed by Don Stephenson
with
Odelia Avadi, Jennifer Piech, and William Youmans

It’s 3:00 a.m. on election night. Campaign headquarters is outfitted for a huge celebration; streamers, posters, olives. But the room is as quiet as a church-mouse. Laura Smith, the prohibitive Republican favorite, has lost her Senate race in a landslide. THE WAR PARTY is a modern political parable about the limitations of the two-party system.

Originally inspired by Republican Linda Smith’s hard-fought, 1998 senatorial race in Washington, which she lost to Democratic opponent, Patty Murray.
