Just shot the role of Lynda in this full-length beautiful and harrowing film about the opioid epidemic, motherhood and how the system failed so many people. It is written and directed by freelance filmmaker Kristel Lleshi. She put together an amazing team of collaborators and I was extremely grateful to be a part of this world as the blue collar nasty neighbor:).

Lead role in film short: SHAME

Booked the leading character, Marcia Young, the mother of a school shooter – this short, by Filmmaker Kristel Lleshi, illustrates the aftermath and devastation on the loved ones of those who have perpetrated such a crime. Shooting 2024.

Co-Producer on Water for Elephants

Based on the critically acclaimed and best-selling novel, Water For Elephants, this new musical takes you on an adventure filled with romance, deception, and a little bit of magic, all under the big top of a traveling circus.
Brought to theatrical life by an internationally acclaimed and innovative creative team, Water For Elephants will reignite your dreams of running away with the circus. This world premiere musical is directed by Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo), with a book by Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, Peter And The Starcatcher), and a score by the award winning PigPen Theatre Co. 

It won multiple awards from the Alliance Theater developmental production in Atlanta in June/July of 2023 and it opens on Broadway March 21, 2024!

‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ with Transport Group

Transport Group has announced casting for its one-night-only performance of the Frank Capra holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III, which takes place Monday, December 12, at 8pm, at The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture, 18 Bleecker Street.

Joining Obie and Drama Desk winner Donna Lynne Champlin (CW’s “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”), who stars as George Bailey, are Barbara Andres (On Golden Pond, Cabaret, Our Town) as Mr. Gower; Sherry D. Had a fun time helping the creators of BORN THAT WAY, written by Michal Sinnott and Mary M. Parr, with an informal zoom reading to help its development. Directed by Michal Sinnott and June Caryll with a cast from NYC, LA and all over the world.

Shot a Guest Star role on FBI Most Wanted

I was thrilled to be cast in a great Guest Star role for the first episode of FBI Most Wanted in Season 2, Directed by the wonderful Jim McKay. Will likely air later November… Wonderful company, amazing crew – I’m so grateful to be back to work!!

Virtual reading of new TV pilot SLIM CHANCE

Did a fun developmental Zoom reading of the pilot episode of SLIM CHANCE by writer, Erick Buckley.

Cast includes: Sean Elias-Reyes, Debra Cardona, Jay Tee III, Regan Moro, Jennifer Piech, Darin De Paul , Matt Conn, and Lilly McDaniel. 

Here’s a brief synopsis from Erick for this fantasy/comedy/action adventure:

Chance Blood is a recovering alcoholic, owner of a comic book store who’s way behind on alimony, child care, mortgage and life in general. Fate accidentally makes him the new avatar of Eris, Greek Goddess of Chaos. He is now caught up in a game of gods, goddesses, demons and other supernatural beings. A mysterious old woman, her warrior/ward Nemain and his store clerk, Stan help him navigate this strange, new, world and hopefully rid him of Eris and get his life back!

Reading for development

Doing a closed reading of 30 YEARS OF NIGHT, a new musical by Lorna Fenenbock – a beautiful epic story set in Northern Ireland during the troubles that follows two families through 30 years. I’m thrilled to participate in its development. This is one to watch!!

Producer news

Some news while wearing my Producer hat:). We opened our 5th company of COME FROM AWAY in Melbourne, Australia July 2019!!!! It was magnificently received – thank you, Aussies!!! And I have two film shorts going to festivals now – “ruok” is rocking the festival circuit and winning all kinds of awards both here and abroad and “Not So Hilarious” is making the rounds for festivals 2019-2020. Just shot a nice Supporting role in a film short

Just shot the role of Sharon in a new horror film short called PLAY ALONG. Brian Hogan assembled a wonderful cast and crew and creative team, shot in lovely Fairfield, CT. Can’t wait to see this one:).

Commercial Theater Institute Spring 2019 14 week Program

I’m delighted to have been selected to participate in the coveted 14 week CTI Course held in the large conference room of the Broadway League. The course is a how-to for up and coming commercial Producers with guest lecturers from all areas of the business – topics ranging from development, putting creative teams together, raising capital, agreements, not-for-profits, budgets, unions, press, and the list goes on. The speakers are the current movers and shakers in the industry today. It’s a select group – how lucky am I??
